The Doleman

HEADLINER

Pagan Celtic Rock forged in pagan folklore, and rhythm. The Dolmen have been around for a long time, their success due to their continuous and relentless dedication to the music they write, performances and to an audience who have supported them throughout a lifetime. The Dolmen blend ancient myth with driving Celtic rock, weaving pounding drums, electrified strings, and raw vocal power into songs that feel both timeless and alive. Their music draws on Celtic spirit, pagan tradition, and ancestral memory, turning each performance into a ritual as much as a concert.

Ribble

So far, so what? Well, add in a 90s drum synth, some mighty arrangements of meaty fiddle tunes, some songs, some wrong turns, battle scars earned busking the streets of Salisbury, a barrowload of end-of-the-pier banter and the feeling that your mad rum-soaked uncle is roaring at you to dance on the tables, then you’re getting close to what Ribble is about.

Piratitude

We are a pirate band, playing in full costume with a line up of bazooka, mandolin, bass, flutes and whistles and percussion. We play folky covers and originals about naval history, famous pirates, yarns of the sea, and drinking songs, all with humour, attitude and audience participation. In addition, we are guardians of the ugly pirate babies who accompany us in their pram.
